Who is Kelley J Wolfe?
A health educator since 1989, my career focus has been in the area of sexuality. From 1995 to 2008, I was an adjunct instructor at UNCA teaching Health and Sexuality, Women’s Health, and Health Promotion and Wellness. I absolutely love teaching and helping people discover the many facets of sexuality. It is this passion that leads me to study Human Sexuality at the doctoral level.
In addition to teaching at UNCA, I also worked in the Asheville- Buncombe school system teaching sex education from 1993 to 1998. I was afforded the opportunity to work with students from grades 5 through 12, parents, teachers and administrators.
I hold a BS in Clinical Nutrition (1989) and a Masters degree (1993) in Public Health Education from UNC Greensboro. In early 2007 my doctoral work in Human Sexuality began, studying at the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality, in San Francisco. My course work is complete and I am currently working on my dissertation.
An Asheville native, I am married and have two children.
