Stewards of Children is the only nationally available program scientifically proven to increase knowledge, improve attitudes, and change child-protective behaviors. It is also appropriate for youth-serving organizations (sports leagues, day care centers, after school programs, children’s clubs, church groups and more) and parents.
The three-hour workshop is designed to educate adults how to prevent, recognize and react responsibly to the reality of child sexual abuse. Authorized Facilitator Kelley J. Wolfe, Ph. D., leads the training.
This workshop will be held from 8:30 am to 11:30 every second Monday of the month. It is held at the Women’s Wellness andEducationCenter,24 Arlington St, near downtownAsheville. Cost is $30 for each participant, and includes the cost of an interactive workbook. Scholarships are available. Programs can also be held in your school, community center, or house of worship.
